Chegg’s top objective is assisting students in succeeding academically and financially after graduation. Scholarships abound, making it easier than ever for students to pay for their higher education. Chegg sees a chance to lighten the load on students and perhaps raise the possibility of getting financial aid.

Chegg Scholarship- Problems

For students wishing to pay for their higher education, there are many scholarships available.
To mention few, there are scholarships offered for people of particular racial or ethnic backgrounds, genders, ages, first-generation college students, particular hobbies, and GPA—as well as any combination of those factors.
The list is practically endless.
But sometimes, that abundance might be too much.
If you’re student seeking for financial aid, you’d want to be sure you’ve taken advantage of all your options.
However, it is impossible to tell if you have applied for all of the opportunities for which you are eligible.
If you think about it, it’s really intimidating.
It takes lot of time and effort to search the internet, or any other resource, for these chances; let alone the work required to follow through and apply for them.

chegg scholarships-Solutions

Chegg wants to help students with one aspect of the equation. Imagine how much stress could be saved for students if they were given a list of the scholarships for which they most likely qualify and only had to worry about filling out the applications. To aid with that, we collaborated with Chegg. Chegg already offered a resource for students to look for scholarships, but it was aware that it might be improved. Instead of a passive, standard search experience, they wished to design a student-specific experience whereby scholarships would be purposefully matched with individuals. We started by conducting a competitive analysis and carefully examining Chegg’s current offering to determine what worked and what did not. We chose a course of action and started formulating a solution, iterating along the way. In order to provide suggested scholarships based on the information we have about a user, email reminders of upcoming submission deadlines, and notifications of new scholarships they are eligible for as they become available, our focus was on designing an experience that is personalized for each user. Working with Chegg during the development process was an exceptional experience in this case. We had been closely collaborating with Chegg’s internal development team up until this point; we fleshed out the front-end, and Chegg’s team took care of the backend using their current architecture. We were able to produce value despite the fact that Chegg’s own team was no longer able to collaborate with us on this project since we shared a mutual trust and knowledge of our goals. We communicated with them on a daily basis to keep them informed of our efforts while also working to develop the user interface and experience. We made judgments that would enable a seamless integration at a later time using the information we learned from earlier initiatives. We completed the project with a product that was prepared for testing, improvement, and integration into the Chegg architecture.
