The most effective way to hand them in is to incorporate them within the admissions application that you submit. If you do not submit your transcripts, any awards that you have received will be revoked.
  • We give out scholarships to deserving students depending on their grade point average. After a student has completed their sixth semester of high school, Kansas University will evaluate the student’s academic performance based on either their weighted or unweighted grade point average (GPA). Scholarships are not given out by KU based on students’ own estimations of their academic performance.
  • Students who are citizens of the United States and who enroll in at least 12 credit hours during both the fall and spring semesters immediately after their graduation from high school are eligible to receive one of these scholarships.
  • Please get in touch with your admissions representative if you have any questions or believe that your application requires further examination.

Renewal

  • The student must maintain a 3.25 grade point average at KU and finish at least 27 hours per academic year at KU. These requirements can be met by any curriculum taken during the summer.
  • Scholarships are awarded to students when they have completed either eight semesters of coursework or their first bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first.
