Ateneo Scholarship, How Can I Apply for Ateneo Scholarship; Ateneo de Manila University is a private research university located in the Philippines. The university offers a number of scholarships to its students to help them finance their education. 3 Steps in Ateneo Scholarship Application

Before obtaining or submitting a scholarship application form, applicants should not wait for the outcome of their admissions application. Once you have your Ateneo Application Number, you can submit your scholarship application (AAN).

Below are the 3 steps you should follow when applying for your Ateneo Scholarship:

Step 1: Prepare your documents

Create the necessary paperwork for your scholarship application.

In general, the Office of Admission and Aid needs to see proof of your financial and living circumstances in order to thoroughly evaluate your application.

In most cases, you must send PDF versions of these files. The application form will include information on whether or not you should send PDF version of the required documents.

Step 2: Fill out the Application Form and request for Recommendation Letters

Fill out Ateneo scholarship application form by downloading it. Gather the necessary materials listed on the application to complete your submission. COMPLETELY AND PROPERLY FILL OUT THE FORM. The applicant’s parents should fill out the financial aid application form. If the requested information is not relevant, enter N/A.

Additionally, you’ll need letters of recommendation from your instructors and/or guidance counselor. They must receive the request for a recommendation letter from you before sending the letters straight to OAA.

Step 3: Submission of Application Form, Required Documents, and Recommendation Letters

Through the link on this page, submit your scholarship application form and other prerequisites online. Applications that are incomplete or lack the necessary supporting documentation will not be processed. If you are unable to submit a document, kindly include a letter of justification.

Advice: Before submitting your scholarship application, submit your application for admission first. To complete your scholarship application, you will require your Ateneo Application Number (AAN), which you will get after submitting your Admissions Application Form.

The Recommendation Form should then be submitted by the person who is endorsing your scholarship application via the link that will be provided on this page. Don’t forget to provide them your Full Name and AAN.

Available Ateneo Scholarships

Ateneo de Manila University offers a number of scholarships to its students. Some of the scholarships available at the university include:

Ateneo Merit Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to the top 60 students for Loyola Schools who have demonstrated academic excellence in their previous studies.

The Ateneo Merit Scholarship is given to the top candidates for admission to Ateneo de Manila University. This year’s award will be determined by each recipient’s academic achievements and leadership positions in their senior high schools.

The top 60 applications from private, public, and science senior high schools locally and overseas are chosen as the Ateneo Freshman Merit Scholarship (AFMS) awardees.

The scholarship awardees are free to choose any four- or five-year program. They receive a P50,000 annual stipend in addition to a full grant for tuition and fees. Additionally, students who are not from Metro Manila will be given a separate scholarship for on-campus housing.

The Loyola Schools see in these individuals considerable potential and a great deal of promise for them to contribute to and improve both the university community and the Philippines. The Loyola Schools seek to carry on the history of academic achievement and devotion to God and the country in and through them.

Directors’ List Scholarships

200 exceptional Loyola School applicants are awarded the Ateneo Director’s List Scholarship.

Every year, thousands of applicants to the Loyola Schools of the Ateneo stand out from the crowd. In their various senior high schools, these kids have distinguished themselves both academically and in extracurricular pursuits.

The recipient will receive an annual scholarship grant of Php 100,000 (or php 50,000 per semester) as a member of the Director’s List for any undergraduate program of study of his or her choosing.

Valedictorians and Salutatorians from Jesuit high schools are given this scholarship.

Valedictorians and Salutatorians of Jesuit high schools who are accepted to the Loyola Schools are given this scholarship. A salutatorian receives a 50% Tuition and Fees Scholarship, and a valedictorian earns a 100% Tuition and Fees Scholarship upon production of a certification from the high school principal.

Fr Bienvenido F Nebres SJ Science Academic Scholarship

Science high school valedictorians and salutatorians are given this academic scholarship.

This scholarship is given to scientific high school valedictorians and salutatorians who are accepted into any degree program offered by the School of Science and Engineering at the Loyola Schools. A salutatorian receives a 50% Tuition and Fees Scholarship, and a valedictorian earns a 100% Tuition and Fees Scholarship upon production of a certification from the high school principal.

Jose P Rizal Academic Scholarship

Public high school valedictorians and salutatorians are given this academic scholarship.

Public high school valedictorians and salutatorians who are accepted into the Loyola Schools are given this prize. A salutatorian receives a 50% Tuition and Fees Scholarship, and a valedictorian earns a 100% Tuition and Fees Scholarship upon production of a certification from the high school principal.

Magis Ateneo Scholarship

The University’s newest and largest financial aid program is the Magis Scholarship.

It is an all-expenses-paid scholarship created to assist the most needy but worthy students in receiving a top-notch, comprehensive college education. The Magis Scholarship is a component of the University’s dedication to increasing the number of students who can attend the Loyola Schools but lack the financial means to do so.

The Magis Scholarship is the Ateneo de Manila’s most comprehensive package of student financial aid. The following is covered under the scholarship:

Athletic Ateneo Scholarship

Student-athletes who have succeeded in sports and academics are given athletic scholarships.

Candidates must work with the Ateneo de Manila University Athletics Office if they want to enroll in the Loyola Schools on an athletic scholarship.

In addition to having a tight budget, applicants must also have exceptional physical skill and be prize winners in their particular sport.

Additionally, candidates must obtain the endorsement of the Ateneo coach and program director for their particular sport.
